Laura’s favorite part of her job is educating. Approaching the Medicare transition can be intimidating with all the mail received and calls from people wanting to “sell” something. Breaking down all that information into understandable terms is very rewarding for her.
As a Customer Service Manager for a Fortune 500 company for five years, Laura’s expertise is focusing on her clients. She encourages her clients to call with questions and touches base with them regarding upcoming Medicare changes. She wants an on-going relationship and to serve as a trusted advisor.
Laura grew up in Omaha and has lived here the majority of her life. She received a degree in Marketing from the University of North Dakota and began her career in Minneapolis, transferring back to Omaha with her company after a few years.
She worked 20 years in the Corporate arena and pursued her insurance interest in 2010.
Laura is active with the West Omaha Chamber, a member of Women in Financial Services and participates in several other networking groups. She has enjoyed volunteering at her Church and the Josie Harper Hospice House.
Laura and her husband, Tim, have raised two girls in Omaha. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and look forward to the next chapter of their life as they approach being Empty Nesters.
